For the patient mentioned above, silicone was used to elevate the nasal bridge, raising it by approximately 3mm to achieve a more appropriate height from its previous lower position.
While the height of silicone implants for female patients can vary individually, a general range of 2.5mm to 3.5mm is considered natural.
Silicone implants are the most commonly used type of implant and are FDA-approved, making them safe for the human body. They do not change shape or get absorbed, making them effective for achieving aesthetic results after surgery. Additionally, they can be easily removed if a revision surgery is needed.
